Update!

Wow, we are really far behind in our posts since we had no Internet access for a couple of days in Canada. Yesterday we crossed back into the US, at Grand Portage, Minnesota, and drove the "north shore" along Lake Superior. It was a really pretty drive. We stopped in the very cute town of Grand Marais for a swim at a rocky beach.

Last night we crossed the UP and now we are in Michigan. Had breakfast at a diner in Escanaba. We will be at a campground in St Ignace this afternoon/tonight.
