Fort Wiiliam

On Tuesday we spent the day at Fort William historical park near Thunder Bay. It was a living history recreation of the old fur trading post. Fascinating history, learning about the Voyageurs from Montreal and how they travelled in birch bark canoes to bring French/English trade goods across the great lakes and interior to trade with the Indians for furs.

Karl was again enamored of the Indian stuff. He got some moccasins that he has been wearing nonstop, even sleeping.
